Edward Rhea McClellan, 73, died Monday February 8, 2016 at home following illness.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Jacqi McClellan; his daughter LuEtta Boyd and her husband Richard, his daughter Lola Johnson and husband Scott, grandchildren Sarah Skimmyhorn, Chris Boyd and his wife Hannah, Riley and Presley Johnson, his great-grandchildren Grayson and Savannah, his brother David and sister-in-law June, numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Born in Wendell and raised in Jerome and American Falls, the son of L.O. and Ruby (Ward) McClellan, he was a lifelong Idaho resident.
In his early years, Ed would help on the family farm. In1962 he moved to Rupert.
Ed worked for the Rupert police Department and Minidoka County. He and his family moved to Hailey in 1978 where he worked as a mechanic at Texaco and later at Louie’s Pizza. In 1990 he and Jacqi moved to Boise where he continued on with Louie’s, then worked for a short time at Walmart before retiring in 2004.
Ed enjoyed volunteering as an active member of the Jaycees and a JCI Senator.
