Edward Paul Baker, 73, of Bristol, passed away on Saturday August 26, 2006 at Countryside . Baker was born on October 12, 1932 in Plainville, CT, a son of the late A. Paul and Lillian (Valley) Baker.
Edward was a sergeant with the US Air Force during the Korean War and was a retired computer operator for was predeceased by his first wife Marcia (Veitch) Baker and his second wife Nancy (Degnan) Baker.
He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Lucia Baker of Rockville, MD, Rick and Rena Baker of Willington, CT; his daughter and son-in-law Nancy B. and Anthony Salvatore of Bristol; his two step-daughters and step-sons-in-laws Geralyn Chouinard Fink and Roger Fink of Bristol, and Michele and Bruce Regensburger of Plantsville, CT; his three sisters, Naomi Goldsmith of Plainville, Joan Baralari of Hendersonville, NC and Barbara Buchanan of Etowah, SC; his grandchildren, Iain Baker, Sarah Baker, Victor Coutin, Elizabeth Salvatore, Michael Salvatore, Eleni Baker, Kevin Beloin and Bryan Chouinard and several nieces and nephews.
The family of Edward would like to thank the staff of Countryside Manor for the loving and compassionate care that he received.
