Mr. Edward O. “Mickey” Winecoff, Jr., 86, of Troutman, passed away at Gordon Hospice House on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
Born on June 16, 1924, in Iredell County to the late E. O. Winecoff, Sr. and Lura Collins Winecoff, he retired from General Electric after 30 years of service. He was also a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserves, a volunteer fireman of 29 years for the Troutman Volunteer Fire Dept., a trustee for Iredell Memorial Hospital, and an avid golfer.
