Edward M. Vachet II, 77 of Vincennes passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the Willow Manor Nursing Center. Edd was born December 11, 1943 in Vincennes, IN the son of Edward M. and Laura Combs Vachet.
He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and attended I U and Oakland City College. He worked for many years at Haag and Peoples Drug Stores as a manager. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Moose VFW, and the American Legion. He enjoyed doing Karaoke at various venues and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Carla Hartsburg.
Edd is survived by his daughter, Suzy Vachet, and her husband Chris Edwards of Indianapolis, IN, and his grandchildren, Catrien Egbert and Corwin Egbert. He is also survived by his sister, Laura Lea Fischer, and her husband Joseph of Murrieta, CA.
