Edward Lewis White, 77, of Hepzibah, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born August 3, 1934 in Hepzibah, the son of the late Carl Preston White and Maccie Ferrell White. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Sendling White whom he married May 13, 1960. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters; Sandra Mitchell and husband Larry of Shinnston; Robin Shreves and husband Lee of Enterprise; one son; Charles “Chuck” White and companion; Tina Mayfield of Enterprise; three grandsons; Nathan Mitchell, Joshua Mayfield and Tyler Shreves; one great granddaughter; Faith Mitchell; one brother Carl David White of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister Mary Lee Freshour. He was employed as a rip saw operator for Clarksburg Casket Co. and was a US Army Veteran. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Full Gospel Worship Center of Clarksburg.
