Details: Edward L. Couch, Jr., 71, a lifelong year resident of Brooklyn Park died on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Howard County General Hospital. He was born on Wednesday, May 3, 1944 in Baltimore, MD to the late Margaret and Edward L. Couch Sr.. Mr. Couch served honorably in the Air Force from 1963 until 1967. He worked for the Department of Corrections in Anne Arundel County for 4 years in the late 1960’s then he worked for the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Northern District until his retirement. His hobbies included camping at Good Sam and Fleetwood camping clubs. In addition to his parents Mr. Couch, Jr. is preceded in death by his sisters, Blanche E. Birchfield, Margaret Marr, and Hilda Teague, . He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathryn M. Couch, his children; Linda Kirk, Tammy Fritz, Robin Davenport, Dawn Yi, and Patty O’Neill, and his grandchildren; Megan Kirk, Billy, Matthew, and Michael Fritz, Josh, Billy, Kaylee and Jeff Davenport, Alyssa, Jordan, Jaxson and Peyton Yi, and Taylor and Gary O’Neill.
