Edward Leroy Bews, 89, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, at his Boise home.
Ed was born March 4, 1927 in Mountain Home, Idaho, son of Albert and Vila Bews. The family moved to Twin Falls when he was 4 years old, and then to Star, Idaho, where he completed his primary education. In high school, he developed a talent for woodworking, and crafted a desk and a wardrobe closet.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Vila, his wife, Shirl, and Mary Gail Floyd. He is survived by his sisters, Birthella Jensen Zern and Lona Jacobs, his grandsons, and nieces and nephews.
