Edward Gene Johns, 74, Anderson, passed away June 19, 2012 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. He was born December 6, 1937 in Anderson, and resided in Anderson all of his life. Edward was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and was an active witness for the Lord. He was an encourager. Edward collected antiques and helped a vendor in flea markets.
He is survived by his sisters, Pat Collings John of Columbia City, Deborah Johns of Richmond and Mary Bosler Frank of Ingalls; nieces and nephews, Michelle Roudebush, Noelle Shull Neil, Jason Bosler, Tirzah Ellet, and Meggan Bosler; and many special friends from his church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Edward & Kathleen Joy Litchfield Johns.
