Edward J. Piekutowski, 89, of Bethlehem, died Monday, December 17, 2007, in St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Marien (Tracz) for 66 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Gorszysa) Piekutowski. Before retiring in 1980, he was employed for 40 years by the Bethlehem Steel as a welder in the coke works. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and Bethlehem Business School. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marien at home; daughters Diann Sauer and her husband Joseph of Bethlehem, Karen A. Wilson of Allentown and Paula Gillette and her husband Gary of Gaithersburg, Md; grandchildren Christopher Sauer and his fiancée Joann Yurconic of Northampton, Cory Sauer of Virginia, Kimberly Wilson of Allentown, Erin Dreher and her husband Scott of Whitehall and Lori Wilson of Virginia.
