FITZGERALD, Mr. Edward Harold died Saturday morning December 17, 2011. Harold was born February 27, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan a son of Emmons and Helen Lane Fitzgerald.
He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 2005 and was employed for many years in the food service industry before retiring. Harold was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Roseville, MI, and also an associate member of the Kalamazoo Mennonite Fellowship. He was also a member of the Roseville Kiwanis Club.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Muriel A. Fitzgerald; and 2 brothers, Jack and Thomas Fitzgerald.
He is survived by 5 children, Daniel Lynn Fitzgerald of Sterling Heights, MI, David Joni Fitzgerald of Irons, MI, Will Bess Fitzgerald of Kalamazoo, Edward Amy Fitzgerald of Irons, MI, and Steven Mariella Fitzgerald of Wesley Chapel, FL; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, James Tina Fitzgerald of Warren, MI and Allen Shirley Fitzgerald of Mt. Clemens, MI; a sister, Kathleen Tony Trupiano of Oakland, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
