Edward H. McCarroll, 94, of Hamburg, previously of Bethlehem died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Laurel Center-Genesis Healthcare. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth L. ( Leiderman) McCarroll who died in 2009. Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Howard and Mary (Stocker) McCarroll. Edward honorably served his country with the U.S. Army during WW II as a Gunner and Staff Sergeant. He was a draftsman and foreman before retiring after 40 years at the former Bethlehem Corporation. Edward was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. Surviving: daughters, Nancy Miller and husband Bill of Hamburg; Patricia McMorrow and husband Jim of Jefferson, MD; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. He also had one grandchild that pre-deceased him in 2008.
