Details: Edward “Al” A. Fleishman, Sr., 83, a 55 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Baltimore died on August 14, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Fleishman was born on May 7, 1932 in Baltimore, MD to the late Jacob and Rose Fleishman. He attended Southern High School prior to serving in the US Navy. He served honorably in the Navy from 1949 until 1953 and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Fleishman was a Baltimore City Police Officer in the mid 1970’s retiring after over 20 years of service. He also worked in the Baltimore Sun’s Distribution Department during the 1970’s and 80’s as well as part-time at Harbor Liquors in Stoney Creek. He was a member of the American Legion. His hobbies included fishing on the bay, Orioles baseball and Ravens Football teams. He also enjoyed social activities. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Robert Fleishman and Frank Fleishman and his sisters Delores Crawford and Beverly French. Mr. Fleishman is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sarah O. Fleishman, his son Edward A. Fleishman, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Pasadena, his daughters Terry Larkins and her husband Don of Pasadena and Cindy Mitchell and her husband David of Glen Burnie, his brothers Lee Fleishman and his wife Joan of Halethorpe and Charles Fleishman and his wife Emma of NC, his brother-in-law Ben Crawford and John French, his sister-in-law Janet Fleishman his grandchildren Melissa Davis and her husband Jim, Amanda Larkins, Jeffrey and Jordan Bass and Allen Fleishman, III, and his great grandchildren Grayson and Garrett Davis.
