Besides his wife and family, the other loves of Ed’s life were his Philadelphia Phillies, BC Eagles and Fordham Rams. The passion he had for his sports teams was often met with much heartache. Thankfully he was rewarded for his years of devotion with World Series titles for the Phillies in 1980 and in 2008, and multiple National Titles for BC in Hockey and one in Lacrosse. He loved his hats and t-shirts, especially those celebrating championships!
For someone who enjoyed sitting in his living room chair, Ed led a very active life.
Ed was an avid reader, especially presidential biographies including numerous volumes about his favorite, President Harry Truman. Throughout his life he was an avid stamp collector, coin collector, and baseball card collector.
