Edward F. Bertotti, Jr., 70 of Bayville, passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Edward was born in Jersey City, NJ and he grew up in Union City, NJ.
He attended Emerson High School in Union City, NJ. His parents, Edward F. Bertotti, Sr. and Helen Kotelnicki predeceased him. He was a loving and devoted husband to Caroleann Cecere Bertotti, a caring and loving father to Justin Bertotti, and Jayson Calnan, a loving brother to Shirley Cohen (Paul); Godfather to Brenda Nason Smull and Alexis Tamke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Edward retired from Verizon in 2000. He was a very active member of the Benovolent and Protective Order of Elks. Edward achieved the high positions of Exalted Ruler and District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler in Palisades Park/Fort Lee Elk’s Lodge #2475. Edward recently demitted to Bayville Elks Lodge #2394.
Edward had many hobbies. He particularly enjoyed the great outdoors and went hunting every year with his friends. He also enjoyed boating, fishing and trips to Atlantic City. Edward is already sorely missed by all who knew him and his infectious smile and laugh.
