Edward “Ed” DeLozier, age 81, of Marshfield, passed away on Friday, February 4th, at Proprietors Green in Marshfield. He is survived by the love of his life, Anne (Lane) DeLozier. Loving father of Rene Case and Danielle DeLozier of Kingston. Grandfather of Devon Case, Jillian Hanson, Ian Mitchell, and Lydia Mitchell. Brother of Patsy Brewster, Debbie Borden, and the late Thomas DeLozier, Gloria “Janet” Lavoie, Deanna “Faye” LeDoux, and Arthur “Bo” Brewster. Devoted former stepfather of Steven, David, John, Shaney, Scott, and the late Robert “Bobby” McDonnell along with their loving spouses, 14 step grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren. Ed was born in Washington D.C. on February 26, 1940, son of the late Thomas DeLozier, and Mary (Snipes) Brewster and stepson of Arthur Brewster. He graduated from Randolph High School and the Art Institute of Boston. During high school he was actively involved in Saint Mary’s Church. He made his career as a graphic designer, first working with Linvure in Somerville, and then having a successful freelance career. Ed worked with a variety of companies such as Schmidt, Necco, and Boston Coffee Cakes. He designed numerous holiday candy packages and pizza boxes. He was a great gardener, cook, and loved all dogs, especially his late dog Casey.
