Edward E. Raper, 94, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Waters of Muncie. He was born in Muncie, November 25, 1919, the son of Everett E. aand Dorothy O. Raper, attended Muncie schools and graduated from Muncie Central High School.
He served in the Army during World War II and received the Bronze Star.
Mr. Raper was employed in the garage at Chevrolet, then at Warner Gear for twenty-five years prior to his retirement.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Venable, Eaton, and Violet Mier, Greenwood; his nephew, Joe Baker, (wife, Jan), Daleville; and his caregivers, Mike and Mary Greer, Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Kabel Raper, who died in 2012, and his brother, Robert Raper.
