Edward C. Korros, 88, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Healthwin Specialized Care in South Bend, Indiana. Edward was born on February 24, 1918, in LaPorte, Indiana to Clement and Edna (Norton) Korros. He retired in December of 1981, after 38 years of service at Fefferman Motor Sales in South Bend.
On March 20, 1942, Edward married Susan Atkinson, who preceded him in death on October 28, 1986. He then married Doris Herwehe, on June 27, 1987, who preceded him in death on December 26, 2001.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Coder of Auburn, Indiana, Becky (David) Hoot of Stewartville, Minnesota; two sons, Tim E. Korros of South Bend, and Jeff (Maureen) Korros of South Bend; grandchildren, Tim (Cindy) Hoot, Paul (Kandice) Hoot, Andy (Amy) Hoot, Matthew & Stefanie Korros; great grandchildren, Makala, Josie, Elisha, Amelia, Ian; a stepson, Brian (Mimi) Herwehe; sisters, Katherine Ryden of LaPorte, Indiana, Dorothy Kienitz of Michigan City, Indiana; and a special friend, Ruby Bos of Westville, Indiana. A sister, Madeline Butler preceded him in death.
