An ambitious young man, Ed settled in the Troy NY area, holding down a number of positions which allowed him to enjoy the beauty of the area and keep active in the community. He continued his career in public service as foreman and Senior Water Plant Operator with the City of Troy for 24 years until his retirement in 1995.
Ed was a member of the Troy Lodge of Elks. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and friends, gardening, horse racing, hunting, fishing, boating, and daily visits to his favorite stops in the Colonie and Clifton Park areas.
