Edward H. Bradshaw, loving husband, dad, Masonic Lodge member, appreciator of chocolate cream pie, carpenter extraordinaire, favorite granddad, eternal jokester and story teller, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 surrounded by family.

One of eight children, Ed was born to Willard and Alice Bradshaw and raised in Logan, West Virginia. In 1951 Theresa Erwin captured his heart and when they married, a 64-year love affair began.

In 1969 the couple, tired of harsh winters, moved their active family of seven to Lakeland, Florida where Ed’s carpentry and contracting skills ensured a lifetime of work.

Theirs was a wonderful life, and Ed is survived by his brother Don (Peg) Bradshaw of Huntington, WV, his beloved wife, Theresa and their five children: Debi (Rick) Sherrill, Ron Bradshaw, Dan (Jenny) Bradshaw, Kannapolis NC, Pat (Becky) Bradshaw, Mooresville NC, and Tammy (Terry) Thompson. A greater, more loving crew has never been known, and of them he was well proud.

But no salute to Ed Bradshaw is complete without a call out to his 14  grandchildren—Eric Allard, Lindsey Sherrill, Kristin Sherrill, Cindy Holcomb, Susan Morris, Casey Kelly, Chris Bradshaw, Lori Bradshaw, Paul Bradshaw, Jonathon Bradshaw, Amanda Moore, Stacy Waller, Kristy Waller, Ryan Thompson, Corey Thompson—and the 26 wondrous great-grandchildren who made his life complete.
