Edward Bozell age 92, of DeMotte, IN passed away at St. Anthony Medical Center, Crown Point, IN on Monday November 7, 2011. He was born on June 27, 1919 in Fair Oaks, IN to Herbert and Gladys (Warne) Bozell, both deceased.
Edward graduated from Fair Oaks High School Class of 1938. On October 21, 1945 he married Lucile E. Wright, who survives. He was a veteran of the US Army Infantry during WWII.
Edward was retired as a Petroleum Driver for Jasper County Farm Bureau Co-op after 34 years of service. He was a member of The American Reformed Church, DeMotte American Legion Post #440, Gideons International for 58 years, Jasper County Gideon Camp, and the National & Indiana Gourd Society. He enjoyed raising blueberries, vegetable gardening and woodworking.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Lucile Bozell of DeMotte, IN; Son, Ronald R. (Shirley) Bozell, DeMotte, IN; Daughters, Sue (Byron) Frieden, Wheatfield, IN; Pamela (Terry) Schultz, DeMotte, IN and Beth (Keith) Dougherty, Valparaiso, IN. 11 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren. Sister, Patricia Martin, DeMotte, IN; many nieces & nephews Preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters & 1 brother.
