Edward A Hessney, 83, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Edward was born the son of the late George and Jennie (Abbott) Hessney on Tuesday, January 18, 1938, in Canandaigua, NY. Edward graduated from Red Jacket High School class of 1955, and then earned his bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State in 1963.
He retired from Xerox. Ed was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Ed enjoyed raising his nephew Angel Archuleta, playing poker, following the NY Giants, NY Yankees, and Syracuse basketball teams.
Edward will be remembered by his sister-in-law, Flora A. Torres; nephew, Angel Archuleta; brothers Thomas (Jan) and Donald Hessney; nieces and nephews and friends.
Edward was predeceased by his wife Rose in 2019; nephew, Adolfo Torres.
