Edward Anthony DeFelippis, age 40 died Wednesday January 12, 2011 at his residence in Burlington City. Edward was born in Islip, NY to the late Anthony and Mary Theresa (nee Garraston) DeFelippis. He was a graduate of Comewogue High School in Port Jefferson Station, NY and he attended SUNY-Stonybrook. He was employed as a graphic designer for Films Media Group in Hamilton Twp., NJ and as an EMT for Raceway Park.

He was also a longtime volunteer EMT and Trustee for the Nottingham Ambulance Squad. He was an avid reader. Ed was a good cook and like to cook and entertain. He also belonged to the brewer’s guild of the SCA. He was known as “Farmer Ed” for his love of the outdoors. Ed especially loved helping people and all who knew him knew of his big heart and compassion for his fellow man. He also had a love of animals, particularly his pets.

He is survived by his loving partner John Olsakovsky, his grandmothers Margaret Garraston and Joan Davis, his step-mother Ellen Martin, his brothers James, Anthony, Gabriel and Leo DeFelippis and Seth Dorfmeister, his sister Rose DeFelippis as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
