Edna W. Van Duyne (nee White), 95, of Holiday City West section of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away July 4th at her home. Born in Staten Island, NY Edna grew up in Caldwell, NJ and later moved to Westbury Long Island prior to moving to Holiday City West in 1982.
Edna was a Banker with Caldwell National Bank, Caldwell, NJ and National Bank of North America, Westbury Long Island,for a total of 32 years, retiring in 1974. Edna was active in many clubs associated with Holiday City West, two of them being their women’s club and line dancing club. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for many years. Edna is preceded in death by her husband in 1992, Everett “Pete” Van Duyne and her sister Veronica Gaffney.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Dorner of Toms River, NJ, two grandchildren, Susan Pickering of Delaware and Jeffrey Dorner of Pennsylvania. Five great grandchildren Allyson, Connor, Samantha, Jessica and Nora.
