Edna Simmons-Cloy, 91, formerly of 222 Stevens St., Bristol, widow of Henry Simmons and James Cloy, died Saturday (January 20, 2007) at Sheriden Woods Health Care Center.
She was born July 12, 1915 in Fair Haven, MA, daughter of the late Manuel and Amelia (Coelho) Raposa. A longtime resident of Bristol, she was employed at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Marie Simmons of Bristol; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ken Black of Ridgefield; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
