Salem Edna May Hutson Seese died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the residence of her daughter, Rainey, with whom she had made her home for the last few years. She was born in Sedalia (Doddridge County) on February, 15, 1924, the daughter of the late Byron (Coxie) and Cora Belle Myers Hutson. She was graduated from Doddridge County High School in the class of 1943. Her husband Roy “Putt” Seese preceded her in death on November 22, 1994. Mrs. Seese is survived by one son, William Gary Seese and wife Marilyn of Beckley; three daughters, Cora “Jeannie” Jones and husband Donald of Ripley; Sandra Gay Dotson and husband, Rendal of Salem; and Rainey L. Hayes and her husband, Dalin of Salem. Also seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Rock, Felicity Kelley, Amber Jones, Billy Seese, Mike Seese, Cassie Hayes, and Cora Anne Short as well as six great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Ruth Swiger and Blanche Swiger; five brothers, Hubert Hutson, Glen Hutson, her twin Edward Hutson, Allen Hutson,and Bernard Hutson.
