Marie Hendrix passed into the Lord’s hands on Thursday January 17, 2013 at the age of 71 in LaGrange Georgia. Marie was born on March 14, 1941 in Griffin GA to the late J.B. and Corine Gray Callaway.
She was a long time resident of Newnan and worked for K-mart customer service for over 20 yrs. Most recently, she was a resident of Franklin GA.
She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband L.E. Hendrix; sons, Joel Tenney, Darrell Tenney and brother Roger Callaway.
She is survived by daughters Carol Denney, Leslie Morris; son Kevin Tenney, all of Franklin; brother James Callaway, sisters Elizabeth Odom, Frances (Kenny) Mills, Linda (Jimmy) Marchman, all of Newnan. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
