Edna L. (Giles) Kleinberger-Vidal, of Cromwell, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 9th at her home. Born in Argentina, she was the daughter of Anita (Sunn) Giles of Argentina and the late Juan Giles.

Edna flew with Pan America Airlines as a stewardess when she arrived in the United States during the 1960’s. She lived in Cromwell for over 35 years and worked for the State of Connecticut for many years.

An adventurous, feisty and independent soul, Edna owned her life, lived it fully, and shared her heart with us. Mom is loved and cherished- yesterday, today and forever. Until we are together again, your children, grandchildren, family and friends listen with open hearts.

Besides her mother, Edna is survived by two sons, William A. Klein of Cromwell and Master Sergeant George E. Berger, USMC of Spotsylvania, VA; one daughter, Lisa A. Klein of Bishop, CA; two brothers, Rolando Giles of Canada and Orlando Giles of Argentina; two sisters, Alicia Giles of Argentina and Susan Alvarez of Bronx, NY and her four grandchildren, Marley, Ranon, Anthony and one grandson on the way.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her grandson, George, Jr. and two brothers, Jorge Giles and Enrique Giles.
