Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Jones Mapp passed away at her home on July 30, 2015. She was born in Coweta County on June 7, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Arthur Grady Jones, Sr. and Edna Rachel Dingler Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Howard “Boots” Mapp. Mrs. Mapp was retired, having been employed by International Playtex.
She is survived by her children Stanley Mapp and his wife Kathy, Vickie Hill, Brenda Spradlin and David Mapp and his wife Teresa. There are 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Annelle Cook.
