Edmund William Dawson of Beverly, NJ passed away on Tuesday August 9, 2011 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia due to cancer and heart failure. Mr. Dawson graduated from Burlington City High School in 1952 and was a graduate of Savannah Junior College, Savannah, Georgia.
He served four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and worked nineteen years for Hercules in Burlington. He is survived by his wife Virginia (nee Gillespie) Dawson, married for 57 wonderful years. He is also survived by his son Garry and daughter-in-law Anna Lucia of Philadelphia and sister Marsha Nichols of Burlington Twp.
