Edmund G. Riccio, 72, of Upper Saucon Township, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. He and his wife, Wynn (Hamill) Riccio, celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in November. Born in Bridgeport, CT and raised in Trumbull, CT, he was the son of the late Lucio X. and Beatrice (Cubelli) Riccio. Edmund was a 1960 graduate of Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield, CT. He also received a BS in Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, where he was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi and earned a Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Bridgeport in Fairfield County, CT. Edmund worked for Bethlehem Steel as the President of BethForge and also with Centec. Previously, he worked for Carpenter Steel in Connecticut, Ingersol Steel in Indiana and Eastern Stainless Steel in Maryland. Edmund was a member of the Saucon Valley Country Club and a trustee of Moravian Academy in Bethlehem. Survivors: his loving wife, Wynn; daughter, Laura A. (Riccio) Augustin and her husband Michael of Alexandria, VA; sons, Gregg A. Riccio and his wife April of Darien, CT and Dr. Edmund L. “Tedd” Riccio of Lafayette Hill, PA; brother, Dr. Lucius “Lou” Riccio and his wife Rhona of New York City; and 4 grandchildren.
