Edmond “Eddie” M. Hageniers, Jr., 54, of South Bend, IN, passed away unexpectedly at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
He was born to the late Edmond M., Sr. and Gloria J. (Tessley) Hageniers in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident. Along with his parents; he was also preceded in death by three sons, Michael Niezgodski; and Edmond and Austin Hageniers.
Eddie was both a Carpenter and Millwright who was a member of IKORCC (Indiana Kentucky Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters) Local Union #1076, for 24 years.
Eddie is survived by one daughter, Alicia Simonson of Mishawaka, IN; three sons, Mitchell D. Hageniers of Indiana; Nicholas E. Hageniers of Indiana; and Matthew Niezgodski of Indiana; two grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; a niece, Frances Bianco; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
Eddie enjoyed motor cross racing, fishing, slot car racing, cooking, and listening to blues music. He was very proud of being a union member.
