Edith Marie Tribble (Phelps), 69, passed away Monday morning at St. Vincent Hospice Center in Indianapolis, losing a two-year battle with cancer.
She was born Jan. 9, 1941 in Lincoln County, Kentucky to J.C. and Marie Phelps. They preceded her in death. She graduated from Roachdale High School in 1959. Edith retired from Crawford Industries in May, 2008 where she was employed for 34 years. She was a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church.
She was formerly married to Lloyd Tribble. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Kathy (Mark) Acree of Columbus, Ohio, Kelly (Scott) Bryant of St. Mary’s Ga. And Julie Tribble of Crawfordsville; one son, John Tribble of Crawfordsville; eight grandchildren (who she thoroughly enjoyed); and three siblings, brothers Joe (Barbra) Phelps of Ladoga and Don (Cathy) of Oxford and sister Doris Phelps of Jamestown.
