Edith M. Kern, 85, of Bethlehem, joined her Savior in Heaven on Monday, July 29, 2013, at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Easton. She was the wife of the late Paul Kern. Born in Bethlehem, Edith was a daughter of the late Henry and Verna (Haldaman) Cope, Sr. She worked for Laros Printing for many years, and was a member of Trinity UCC, Freemansburg. She enjoyed having fun on bus trips with her family. Survivors: Son Ronald Cope and his wife Betty of Bath; daughter Sherry Simons and her husband Melvin of Freemansburg; sisters Doris Bennicas of Allentown, Shirley Hein of Bethlehem Township; brothers Jake Cope of Maine, Kenneth Cope of Bethlehem Township, James Cope of Bethlehem, Fred Cope of Freemansburg; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Edith was predeceased by her brothers, Richard, Paul and Frank Cope.
