Edith C. Cool, 94, of Scottsdale, passed away July 11, 2011. She was born in New York on April 12, 1917. She lived most of her life in New Jersey. She was preceded in death in 1994 by her brother George Cool (Nell-residing in Texas). She is survived by her nephew Steven Cool (Patti) of Scottsdale and a niece Susan Garrison of Colorado. She is also survived by three great nieces, a great nephew and a great great niece and nephew. She worked for General Electric for 37 years. Through most of her adult life she enjoyed traveling the world. After her retirement, she volunteered at the library in Bloomfield, New Jersey and taught water aerobics. She moved to Scottsdale in 2000 to be near family. She was a wonderful aunt, always compassionate and considerate of others.
