Edith B. Lee was born April 6, 1915 in Dunning, Nebraska and passed away on November 22, 2014 of natural causes at her residence in an assisted living facility in Boise, Idaho.  

Edith was raised in Nebraska and met her husband Gerald on the farm where she lived when he stopped by to ask for a drink of water.  They were married on April 1, 1939 and had 49 years together.

During World War II, as a full-fledged member of the “Greatest Generation”, she worked at a Remington Arms plant in Denver making 30-caliber rifle ammunition.  Later she became a seamstress and worked many years for the State of Colorado at Ridge School for the Mentally Handicapped in Wheatridge, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and sisters, and her husband Gerald.

She is survived by her sister Lois, her son William, daughter-in-law Carol, and her grandchildren Steven and Karen.
