Edile Jean Pierre was born in Saint Marc, Haiti, on March 7, 1953. He was very proud of being from Saint Marc. At a young age, he left Haiti and moved to Holland where he spent 5 years. During that time, he became well-traveled and shared that love of travel with his children whom he inspires.

In the early eighties, he traveled back to Haiti where, he would eventually take his talents to the United States. Shortly after moving to the United States, he met the love of his life, Yolette Gray. The two went on to get married and have three beautiful daughters. Devoted to his family both in the states and in Haiti, Eddy worked hard to ensure that his beloved mother and siblings were emigrated to America.

Along with his pride in his family, Eddy took great pride in being a talented tailor and his work simply spoke for itself. He brought so many designs to life and his stitch work was impeccable. In 1983, he opened a tailor shop in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he quickly gained the respect of the community. Yet, he remained a humble individual and treated everyone as equal. Not once did he brag or put himself above others. This was just another example of how self-less he was. Consistently, Eddy put everyone above himself and never complained, even when he was being taken advantage of.

His most admirable quality is how he gave without looking for anything in return. His temperament calm and never raising a voice or hand at us. Some may even say he spoiled his family. So many memories were created with our father that we will never forget. He left his immeasurable imprint in this world, but most importantly in our hearts. We will all miss Eddy, and his absence will definitely be felt daily, but we are also grateful for the example of his goodness that he left for us.
