Edgar James Tuning , 94, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at his home in Caldwell, ID.
Edgar James Tuning was born February 25, 1928 in Parma, ID to Harold and Liddie Tuning. He attended school at Roswell and Parma.
In 1946 he enlisted in the Navy then switched to the Army Airborne which started a military career that ended 1970. During his military tenure, Ed served in three major conflicts: WW11, KOREA AND VIETNAM.
HE was married to Delilah Ann Evans and they had 5 children: Edward, David, William, Janeine, Bruce.
Following the death of Delilah, Ed married Edith Burton/Fine and they settled in Caldwell, ID for the next 31 years.
He is survived by a half-brother, Harold James Tuning of Ark and numerous other relatives and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Liddie, his son Edward, his brothers Merle, Charles and Lester.
Ed’s life has touched many people and his presence will be missed by family and friends but his memory will be cherished forever.
