Leominster – Edgar Joseph Breault, of Leominster, died February 2, 2014, in Life Care Center, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Erminia “Min” (Palumbo) Breault. They were married May 22, 1943.
He leaves two sons; David Breault of Hooksett, NH and Jeffrey Breault and his wife Yvonne of Braintree, MA and a daughter Sylvia, wife of Denis Roux of Ashburnham, MA, along with 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves 4 sisters; Doris Jones and Ada Tozer of Chicago, IL, Rose Nelson of Florida, and Yvonne Lord of Leominster. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Marie Proctor in 1997, and three brothers; Albert Breault and Phillip Breault of Florida, and Raoul Breault of Leominster. He was the son of the late Rose (LeBlanc) and Alexandre Breault.
Edgar retired from Banner Mold & Die Co., in January of 1977.
He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Parish, a Life Member of the Franco-American War Veterans, a Life member of Post #283, of the Lunenburg Branch of the American Legion, a member of the Leominster Chapter of Disabled Veterans, a member of the Fifth Armored Division Assoc., The Leominster Senior Center, An Honorary Life Member of the Montachusett Twirlers Square Dance Club, a member of the local and national AARP, a member of the Senior Center Bowling League, a long time volunteer at the Birchwood Care Center in Fitchburg, and a past member of the Grand View Country Club. He had been an avid golfer and also enjoyed walking for miles each day.
He was a recepient of the Purple Heart for action in France during WWII.
