Eddy “Blue” Gosnell, 67, of Anderson, passed away on December 1, 2012 at St. John’s Health System, Anderson.
He was born on August 7, 1945 and resided in Anderson all of his life. Eddy graduated from Alexandria High School. He retired from Delco-Remy of General Motors after 30 years of service. He served his country in U.S. Army as a Viet Nam combat veteran. He was a member of VFW Post 266, Fat Boy Jeepers, and Tecumseh Lodge. He coached youth baseball, enjoyed pow-wow dancing, fishing and hunting, raising and showing blue tick hounds. He also enjoyed working on his jeep, cooking, and spending time with his family.
Eddy is survived by his loving spouse whom he married in 1994, Carla Brauchla Gosnell; children, Kelly Fred Ohab, Amanda companion Jeremy Taliaferro, Kelli Dan Whitehead, Christie Hart, Kevin Kellie Thompson. Grandchildren; Christina Eric James, Alexis Kerns, Cheyenne Taliaferro, Miles Masters, and Aaliyah Ohab; Great-grandson; Austin E. Jasiah Lehman; brothers; Tom Elaine Richards, and Steve Beverly Richards; mother-in-law, Sid Beamer; brothers-in-law; Stephen Ginger Beamer, and Jason Julie Tater Salad Beamer; Sisters-in law; Sanda Billy Leggins, and Tana Steve Bates; 18 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews; special friends; Griz and Helen Hockwalt, Jill, Danyell, Mary Beth, Deb, Pam, and the Mills family.
He was preceded in death by Parents; father, Earl Gosnell; mother, Mary McGuire; Brother; Ron Richards, sister; Susie Hillenberg; father-in-law, Bob Beamer; and brother-in-law, Ray.
