Was born on November 28, 1943 in the town of Carlisle, Mississippi. “Shorty” was born to the late Richard and Louise Hicks. “Shorty” or “Hicks” as many knew him was a giving and loveable man who never turned anyone away who needed support and care.
Eddie Lee Hicks “Shorty” was preceded in death by: Richard Hicks, Louise Hicks, Janice Harris, Richard Hicks, Jr., Joe Hicks, Louise Benit, and Shirley Hicks.
Eddie Lee Hicks “Shorty” is survived by: his life partner Toye King and her daughter Maya King, daughter Wanda Ruffin and two sons Anthony Hicks and Trevillion Matthew Nash, sister Betty Barnes, Vera Liggins, two brothers Willie and John Hicks, followed by a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
