Eddie C. Williford, 79 of Newnan, passed away at his residence Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was born August 28, 1940 in Laurens County, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, T. W. Williford and Hattie P. Williford; in-laws, Fuller and Margie Combs. Eddie served in the U. S. Army from 1959 to 1962 then he was a plant superintendent for Brown Steel. His Lord and his family were his life. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Combs Williford; daughter, Donna and husband Rodd Burger; daughter, Paula and husband Dan Godfrey; grandchildren, Hayden Jackson, Clay and wife Kaleigh Godfrey and Drake Burger; great-grandchild, Maizie Godfrey; sister, Frances Williford Kennedy of Augusta, GA.
