Mrs. Chapple peacefully passed away a lovely care facility in La Mesa, California. She is the wife of Weldon Chapple.

Earline Chapple was born February 22, 1935 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was the fifth of six children born to the late Thomas Felder Sr. and Pearl Felder. The family moved to Los Angeles, California, where she attended Carver Elementary and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1952. After high school, Earline’s Dad gave her a graduation gift to travel throughout the United States. However, she got stuck in Arizona where she met the love of her life, Weldon Chapple. Soon after Weldon met Earline, he said to her, “I’m going to marry you”. Shortly afterwards, he relocated to Los Angeles and they became one on February 14, 1955. Earline and Weldon were blessed with four beautiful children: Cassandra, Alano, Monique and Derrick who preceded her in death.

In 1978, the family moved to San Diego, California, where Earline remained a wonderful homemaker. She made her house a home for her husband, children and the neighborhood.

As we celebrate Earline’s home going she leaves her legacy with her husband of fifty-eight years, Weldon Chapple; three daughters, Cassandra, Alano and Monique; her younger brother, Raymond; sister and brothers-in-law, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
