Earl Truman Jacobs, 78, of Middletown, husband of Elizabeth (Sanchez) Jacobs, passed away on Friday, June 18th at Middlesex Hospital. Born in and a lifelong resident of Middletown, he was the son of the late Howard E. and Maybelle J. (Earl) Jacobs. Earl worked at Guida’s (Sunshine) Dairy for several years as a truck driver and he was a very spiritual man who enjoyed vacationing in Florida, fishing and playing cards. Besides his wife, Earl is survived by his brother, Howard Jacobs of Auburndale, FL; his sister, Alta Ryder of NY and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Althea McCollum and Almeada Nichols.
