Earl Red Louis Worley, 90, died after a brief illness on November 2, 2014 in Roswell, NM. On July 17, 1924 in Blum, Texas, Red was born to his parents, David S. and Pearl Edna Jenkins Worley. Red was one of 12 children. Red was preceded in death by his son, Ben Worley and wife of 66 years, Mary Lena Baldwin Worley, five sisters, Georgia Howard, Josie Bolton, Molly Jones, Edna Troublefield, Sally Bealer, and four brothers, Frank, Jim, Vernon, and Lloyd Worley. Red is survived by his sister Stella LaGare and twin sister Louise Mason, one daughter, Cindy Norman and her husband Mark of Roswell, one son, William D. Worley and his wife Marcia of Arlington, Texas, four grandchildren, Amelia Goroff, Elizabeth Fulkerson, Zachary Worley, and Matthew Worley, and two greatgrandchildren, Carson Goroff and Ella Fulkerson.

The Worley family moved from Blum, Texas to Hagerman, New Mexico when Red was twelve years old. Even at that early age, Reds desire to work hard and provide for others was evident. Shortly after graduating from Hagerman High School in 1943, Red met and married Mary Lena Baldwin. An entrepreneurial spirit emerged early in his life and Red established Worley Enterprises in 1947 on South Main Street in Roswell. He has been in various business ventures across the Southwest for the past 67 years. At the time of Reds death, he was one of the oldest real estate brokers in New Mexico. Red was active in the manufactured housing industry and was inducted into the RVMH Hall of Fame, Class of 2000. Dennys wont be the same without Red drinking coffee and talking business. He was an icon and friend to many and will be dearly missed.

The family would like to express our gratitude to the caring doctors, nurses, and staff at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center for their kindness and professional care.
