Earl Lee Davis, 91, Pendleton, died July 2, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Heart Center of Indiana after a brief illness.
He was born May 16, 1920 in Pendleton, and resided in Pendleton. He lived in the area all his life and worked at Power House at Guide Lamp and retired after 42 years of service. Earl was also the owner of Davis Excavating. He was a member of the Harvest Bible Fellowship , a Board member of the Mendon Cemetery and was on the Pendleton High School Shop Class Board.
He is survived by his wife whom he married January 24, 1997; Helen Reger Davis of Pendleton. Daughter; Nadean husband, Leon Duckworth of Fortville and son; Arthur “Sonny” L. wife, Marna Miller, Jr. of Wilkinson. Brother; Gerald Davis of Tennessee. Five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and several special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Emery and Bessie Davis. Two brothers and one sister.
