Earl Junior Griffith, 89, of Clarksburg passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 7, 1928 in Johnstown, WV; son of the late Arthur J. Jr, and Bertha L. Hurst Griffith. He was the last surviving member of his family.
Earl is survived by cousins, Raymond and Linda Ash; friends, Freda and George Casto, John Shinn all of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessica “Jessie” Faye Bryant Griffith; son, Jay Earl Griffith; sisters, Ernestine, Shirley, Linda, Dorothy; his brother, Robert.
Earl graduated from Victory High School and served in the United States Army. He was a mechanic for Louie Glass Co. and was Baptist by faith.
