He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Hillman) Cantrell; daughter, Connie Likens; Livingston, TN; son, David Cantrell, Livingston, TN; brother, Charles Cantrell (wife: Shirley), Gainesboro, TN; mother of his children, Rassie Cantrell, Livingston, TN; daughter-in-law, Melissa York; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Cantrell and Robin Johnson; brother-in-law, Bob Hillman (wife Jessica); his caretaker for the last two years, Amy Crabtree; and his dear pets, Kissie, Big Max, Sissy, Pretty Girl, Tazzie and Maggie. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Courtney and Megan Cantrell and three step-grandchildren; Dannie Collins (husband: Matt); Scotty York (wife: Lisa) and Rebekka York; two step-great-grandchildren, Braylee York and Hayden Collins; nephew, Elijah Hillman and two nieces, Whitney Hillman and Clarissa Thompson (husband: Steve).
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Kimes, MC, Willard, John and an infant brother; two sisters, Erlene Hargis and Ovaline Hargis; a step-son, Doug York.
