Orville Earl Fankhouser, 84, (known as Earl O. Fankhouser) went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Elms Haven Care Center in Thornton, CO.
He was the son of Orville B. (Slim) and Alice (Johnston) Fankhouser, born in Boone, Colorado on August 12, 1928.
Earl attended school in Kansas and LaJunta, CO until he turned 17 when he joined the US Navy where he honorably served for four years as an electrician’s mate. After his discharge, he became a lineman for Rural Electric Association in La Junta.
