Earl Clark Hibbs, 85 of Newburg, WV passed away on Saturday December 11, 2010. He was a resident of Golden Living Center of Morgantown. He was born on May 16, 1925 in Gladsville, WV, son of the late Samuel J. and Regina Kincaid Hibbs. He was a 1943 Graduate of Newburg High School and a veteran of World War II, serving with the 180th Infantry of the 45th Division in Europe. Surviving are three children and spouses, Regina Ann and James Harris of Newburg, William and Stephanie Hibbs of Independence, David and Deborah Hibbs of Newburg (York Run), Seven grandchildren and spouses, James and Zona Harris of Clifton Mills, Daniel Harris of Newburg, Meegan Hibbs Cordero of Chesapeake, VA, Kim Hibbs Woods and David of Independence, Clark (CW) Hibbs of Independence, Robert and Lana Hibbs of Chesapeake, VA and Matthew Hibbs of Morgantown, four great-granddaughters, three great grandsons, and six step great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Lilly, Grace and Ruby, two brothers, Wade and Clyde.
