DyAnn Aaron, age 64 of Algona formerly of Fenton, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. DyAnn Ruth Aaron was born on August 29, 1956 to Tommy and Del (Ahlgrim) Aaron in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended school in Algona and graduated Sentral High School of Fenton in 1974. In 1978 DyAnn met Diane (White) Lockwood when Diane started working at Style Craft. They became friends and DyAnn would go to Diane’s parents’ home where she met Diane’s younger sister, Mary (White) Fowler. Since there were two Diane/DyAnn; DyAnn became known as Aaron so there was no confusion. DyAnn and Mary became best friends in 1978 even though Mary was 8 years younger. They became inseparable, going everywhere together. DyAnn’s parents became Mom & Dad #2 to Mary. DyAnn and Mary went to Atlanta, Georgia twice for vacation. They were always together. DyAnn was known as Auntie Dy to Mary’s children. DyAnn worked at Style Craft, Pizza Hut, Dollar General and Algona Good Samaritan Society where she retired in 2018. She also lived in Marietta, Georgia where she was employed as a nanny from 1986 until 1991. DyAnn also enjoyed working at a rescue for Grey Hounds and rescued many with her mom. She loved dogs and had dogs her whole life. She treated them as her children. DyAnn also enjoyed cooking and gardening. Left to cherish DyAnn’s memory are her best friend of 42 years, Mary Fowler of Algona; brother, Mark (Connie) Aaron and their son Mick of Algona and many other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
